Blades uses methods by world leaders in beauty, & provides cosmetology services to men, women, and children of all ages. Professional services will include (but are not limited to) shampooing, coloring, and styling hair, as well as providing manicures, pedicures, and temporary hair removal. We advise clients about hair care and products and use specialized techniques for straightening and perming hair.  Staff members are held responsible for their professionalism and attitude, ensuring they have the real world tools to provide you the care you need and deserve.

What’s so SPECIAL about Blades Hair Design anyway? After becoming a B.O.B. trained designer, you’ve opened the door to a world of career options-full-or part-time. You could work in a salon or even eventually own your own. You could be a platform artist for a worldwide hair corporation, or perhaps on the set of a movie styling hair. There are also opportunities as sales representatives for world-renowned products. Then again, some people return to the classroom after they graduate to teach. A Quality Approach to Education! Ram Alvarado, created the curriculum for B.O.B. schools around his distinct learning philosophy. B.O.B.’s “Scientific Approach” is a marriage of art & science with its roots in an architectural theory called Bauhaus. This Scientific Approach teaches you to become a designer, not just a hairdresser. And there is a difference. A designer not only knows the how’s of cosmetology, but also the why’s. These “why’s” are based on a belief that hair design is an artistic expression with its roots in the basic elements of form, texture & color - just like the fundamental principles of art.
